Pitches are answers now

There is no separate Pitches page any more. Your opener and any other short introduction live in Interview prep, in the About you group. Links to the old Pitches page open Interview prep.

Write your opener

1. Open Interview prep and find "Tell me about yourself." under About you. Every new account has it. If you removed it, add it again from Add questions.
2. Choose a Shape that suits an introduction. Now, before, next walks through where you are, how you got here and where you're going. Hook, value, ask suits a meetup, a coffee or a career fair. Who, why, want suits a recruiter's first call.
3. Write each part in your own words and add a few cue words.

Use it in an interview

When you pick questions for an interview, "Tell me about yourself" goes first. Practice runs it before everything else, the way most interviews start.

Several versions

For a different audience, such as a networking event or a recruiter call, add another question in About you with its own answer. Practise each one out loud until it is Ready.
