Undo an editing mistake
Use Undo after an unwanted edit. Review the preview after each step, especially when an operation changed several sections or styles. Use Redo if you undid too much.
Understand history entries
History identifies operations such as Edit field, Reorder, Change template, Change style and Apply AI suggestion. Use these descriptions to understand what changed rather than treating every entry as a separate saved document.
Keep important versions
Do not rely on editing history as a permanent cross-device backup. Duplicate a document before experimenting with a substantially different version. Wait for saves to finish and check errors before leaving the editor.
Changes conflict between browser tabs
Keep a copy of any unsaved writing before reloading. Open the latest saved document and check which change already reached it. Reapply only the missing work. If an AI proposal was based on the earlier version, ask for a fresh proposal after checking the current document.
Undo reverses editing operations; it does not recall a downloaded file or a copy already sent to someone. Download a new file after correcting the document.
