Manage member roles, deactivation and removal

Choose the appropriate role

Open Team. A workspace has two roles. Managers coach the whole caseload: they invite clients while a Pro seat is free, open any client's profile and workspace, write notes, pause, resume or close a client and review shared documents. When every seat is taken, a manager can ask the Owner for more. Owners do all of that and run the workspace: billing and adding seats, settings, inviting managers, taking a seat for their own CV, changing roles, deactivating or removing managers, handing a client to another coach and exporting documents in bulk. Only an Owner can change a role.

Pause or remove a member

Deactivate pauses a manager's access to the workspace. Their shared documents stay shared, and the Pro seat they held for their own CV is released, so the workspace stops paying for their Pro. Reactivate restores access; they take a seat again if they need one. Remove member ends the membership and releases their own seat too; read the confirmation and the option to keep copies of shared documents where offered. A manager who leaves is handled the same way.

Check consequential changes

Promoting someone to Owner gives extensive control, including the ability to remove other managers. Clients a departing manager coached stay in the workspace, unassigned, and the whole team keeps covering them. Export or retain necessary shared material before confirming removal.
