Open a conversation

Open AI Copilot from the app. It can use the current page or document as context. Check the context shown in the composer before sending your request.

Ask a clear question

  • For instructions: “How do I change a section background?”
  • For writing: “Rewrite these experience bullets more concisely without adding new facts.”
  • For a specific outcome: “Tailor this CV to the job description I provide.”

You can also open the Help Center for step-by-step product guides. When a copilot answer includes a guide, follow its source link to read the full instructions. If the copilot cannot find instructions for a feature, it should say so rather than invent controls.

Supply the right context

Mention another document with @ when you want the copilot to use it. Select a section or entry when you want a focused content edit. Use the available context controls to decide what information is included.

Choose the appropriate mode

Patch is for targeted content changes. Draft is for broader writing. Appearance is for the document's look. Appearance works with the whole document; disable section selection when the app asks you to do so.

Check usage and changes

AI usage depends on the allowance shown in your account. Asking for help does not apply a document edit by itself. Review proposed changes and use Apply only when you want to keep them.
