Change columns, page spacing and layout
Adjust columns and spacing while keeping every page readable.

Adjust the page
- Open the editor design controls and find Page Layout.
- Choose the available column layout and adjust Groups Ratio to change relative column widths.
- Review First page padding, Next pages padding and the gaps between groups, sections, items and fields.
Move content deliberately
Use Rearrange to change section order. Check the destination column as well as the order within it. Extend Group To Full Height changes the treatment of a group; it does not create more space for oversized content.
Check every page
Narrower columns make text wrap onto more lines. Review all pages and the download preview. If content becomes taller than a page, shorten or split it rather than assuming export will fix the overflow.
A small edit adds another page
- Check the last section on the previous page and the first section on the new page.
- Undo the last layout change to see whether column width, font size or spacing caused the move.
- Restore your preferred layout, then shorten repeated wording or reduce the specific gap that uses too much space.
- Check readability at normal size before downloading again.
First page padding and Next pages padding are separate. If later pages have different margins, inspect both settings before changing every section's padding.
