Create workspace templates and set a default

Offer your clients your own designs, start their new CVs on a default, and stop offering one safely.

Add a template

  1. Open the workspace Templates tab and choose Add template. Any manager can add, edit and set templates.
  2. Select a platform template or one of your own templates as the starting point. Enter an optional name and choose Create template. Without a name, the copy is named after the template and your workspace.
  3. The new template opens in the editor. Give it your look before your clients use it.

Edit a template

Choose Edit template on a card. The editor shows how many CVs use the template, and changes apply to every CV built on it the next time it is opened or exported. Back returns to the workspace Templates tab.

Set a default

Use Set as default for the template your clients should start on. A client's first CV starts on it, and so does every new blank CV they create afterwards. Clients see your templates first in the editor's template picker and under the Workspace filter in Templates.

Limit clients to your templates

An Owner can turn on Allow only workspace templates in Settings. Clients then pick from your catalog only, and the setting stays inactive until a template exists. Managers always keep the full gallery, so they can keep adding templates.

Stop offering a template

Choose Remove template and read the confirmation. If CVs already use the template, it stops being offered but is kept, so those CVs keep their look. A template nobody uses is deleted.
