Empty fields are missing from the download

The editor can show placeholder fields while you are writing. Fields without content are left out of the export, so the exported file can be shorter than the editor preview. Check the missing-field list in the download dialog and fill in anything you intended to include before downloading again.

Choose a format

PDF preserves the styled layout. DOCX creates an editable Word document, and TXT creates plain text without the visual layout. Choose the format requested by the employer and check the exported file before sending it. The download dialog shows any format-specific access requirement, such as Upgrade for DOCX.

If a download is blocked

Read the message in the dialog. A document using restricted features may require different access. An overflow warning means some content needs attention before export. See the layout troubleshooting guide for the next steps.
