Choose a template and save your own

Choose a starting point

Open Templates and choose Use on a template to start a document. You can also start a blank CV and choose a design in the editor. Use the Platform, Custom or Workspace filters where available. If you are supported by a workspace, its templates come first in the template picker, a new blank CV starts on its default template, and it can limit you to its own templates. A star marks the default design in every template picker, so you can find your starting point again after trying others.

Save a reusable starting point

1. Open a CV with the content and design you want to reuse.
2. Choose Save as template and enter a Template Name.
3. Find the result in Templates and use it to start another document. Review its starting content before sharing a new CV.

Change an existing document

On desktop, open Design in the editor toolbar and choose another design on the Template tab. On mobile, open the appearance controls and find Theme & template. Check section placement, columns and page overflow afterwards. A template change is not a substitute for reviewing the exported result.

Only workspace templates appear

Look for a notice that template choice is limited to your workspace's templates. This is a workspace policy, so changing search terms will not reveal the full platform catalog. Ask your coach about the policy or choose one of the workspace's templates.
