Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and WhizCV. They are deliberately short and plain — if a clause seems unfair, tell us and we will look at it.
1. Agreeing to these terms
These terms are a contract between you and Yordan Georgiev, an independent software developer based in Sofia, Bulgaria, who operates WhizCV ("WhizCV", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using WhizCV, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Who can use WhizCV
You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
Register with accurate details. You may not create an account on someone else's behalf without their permission.
3. What the service is
WhizCV lets you build, style, export and share CVs and cover letters, and gives you supporting career tools — a reusable career profile, an application tracker, an interview-question library and personal pitches.
WhizCV is in early preview. It is fully usable, but it is actively developed: features change, and we do not offer an uptime guarantee. We will not remove something you depend on without notice.
4. Your content stays yours
Everything you write into a document belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it.
You give us a limited licence to store, process, render, export and — when you turn on a share link — publicly display that content, solely so we can provide the service to you. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are responsible for making sure your content is accurate, lawful, and yours to use.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use WhizCV to:
- break the law, or produce documents that impersonate another person;
- upload content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy;
- attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the security of the service or other users' accounts;
- scrape, automate or resell access to the service, or use it to build a competing product;
- upload malware, or anything designed to damage the service.
6. AI features
The AI copilot, CV import and translation features generate output automatically. That output can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation, and it is not career, legal or immigration advice.
You are responsible for reviewing anything AI produces before you put it in front of an employer. See section 5 of the Privacy Policy for how your content is processed when you use these features.
7. Plans, passes and payment
- The Free plan requires no card and is not a trial. It includes one CV and one cover letter, all templates, the tracker and the interview journal, with WhizCV branding on exported documents.
- Paid access is sold as one-time passes: a 3-Day Pass at €9.99 and a 30-Day Pass at €29.99, in EUR. Prices include any VAT due — the price shown on the pricing page is the total amount charged to your card, and nothing is added at checkout.
- Passes do not auto-renew. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. When a pass expires, your account simply returns to the Free plan — your documents are not deleted.
- We may change prices, but never for a pass you have already bought.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see your card details.
8. Your right to withdraw, and refunds
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. Because a pass gives you immediate access, when you buy one you ask us to start supplying it straight away and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the pass has been fully performed.
Beyond the legal minimum: if a pass did not do what you expected, email support@whizcv.com within its term and we will refund it. We would rather refund someone who is unhappy than argue with them.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using WhizCV and delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account deletes your documents.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 5, or that we are legally required to close. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your documents.
10. Availability and warranties
WhizCV is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will get you a job. We take backups and we take security seriously, but you should keep your own copy of any document that matters to you.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use WhizCV after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you can bring proceedings there.
The European Commission also provides an online dispute-resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
