Good to know
- A free download needs the document to stay inside the free limits: one page, up to 16 entries, the standard sections and the default footer line. If it goes past one of them, trim it back or move to Pro.
- Word downloads are plain, editable files without the template’s design, and they carry no footer line. The plain text download is always free.
- All templates are free. No template is locked to Pro.
- Importing an old CV works with PDF, Word, text and image files up to 10 MB. Import and the AI help draw on the same monthly allowance.
- If you stop Pro, nothing is deleted. A document that uses Pro features has to fit the free limits again before you can download or share it.
- You can try the builder without an account. Your draft moves into your account when you sign up, and downloading needs that free account.
What Pro costs
- One month: €19.99
- Three months: €39.99 (about €13.33 a month)
- Six months: €59.99 (about €10 a month)
The price is the total you pay; nothing is added at checkout. If you cancel, Pro runs to the end of the period you paid for. We email you 3 days before a renewal, and a first payment is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days.
Questions about the free plan
Can I download my CV for free on WhizCV?
Yes. A one-page CV with up to 16 entries downloads as a PDF or a Word file on the free plan, as often as you like. There is no trial period and no card to enter.
Is there a watermark on a free CV?
There is no watermark across the page. The PDF carries one small “Powered by WhizCV” line in the footer; Word and text downloads carry none. Pro lets you change or remove that line.
Is the free plan a trial?
No. The free plan has no end date. You keep your CV and can edit and download it for as long as you like.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Signing up asks for no card, and the free plan never charges you.
Which templates are free?
All of them. Every template works on the free plan, including in the PDF download.
How much does WhizCV Pro cost?
€19.99 for one month, €39.99 for three months or €59.99 for six months, which is about €10 a month. That is the full price, with nothing added at checkout, and if you cancel, Pro runs to the end of the period you paid for.
Which languages does WhizCV work in?
The app, the CV labels and the AI help work in 14 languages: English, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish and Swedish.
