About WhizCV
WhizCV is a CV builder for people who are actually job hunting — built by one developer, funded by nobody, and priced so it cannot quietly bill you for a year.
Why it exists
Every CV builder I tried had the same three problems. Templates that looked good but confused applicant tracking systems. A "trial" that turned into a subscription and kept charging months after I had the job. And a tool that stopped at the document, when the hard part of a job hunt is everything around it.
WhizCV started as the tool I wished I had. The goal is simple: help you present yourself clearly, confidently, and in a way that actually gets read.

What we believe
- A free tier should be usable, not a demo. No card, ever, to start.
- Nothing should auto-renew. Paid access is a pass that expires by itself, because a job hunt is intense for a few weeks and then it is over.
- Your CV should survive the software that reads it before a human does.
- Your career history is yours. We do not sell it, and you can export or delete it whenever you like.
Where we are right now
WhizCV is in early preview. It is fully usable — people build, export and share real CVs with it — but it is young, it is developed in the open, and you will find rough edges.
That is deliberate. Feedback goes straight to the founder, and what you report gets voted on and shipped on a public roadmap you can see. If you would rather wait for a finished product, that is a completely reasonable choice.
