WhizCV compared with other CV builders
Most CV builders let you start for free and ask for money at the download. Here WhizCV stands next to five well-known builders on what matters before you start: what you can download for free, what the paid plans cost and how they renew. Each builder’s page lists its sources.

Questions
Which CV builders let you download a PDF for free?
Of the six builders here, WhizCV, Kickresume and Canva let you download a PDF on their free plans: WhizCV with every template for a one-page CV, Kickresume with 4 free templates and Canva with its free templates. Zety’s free plan downloads only a text file, Resume.io adds PDF in a few basic templates, and Enhancv’s free plan lasts 7 days.
Is WhizCV really free?
Yes. The free plan has no end date and asks for no card. A one-page CV with up to 16 entries downloads as a PDF or Word file as often as you like; the PDF carries a small “Powered by WhizCV” line in the footer. Pro, from about €10 a month on the 6-month plan, adds longer CVs, more documents and your own branding.
How were these comparisons made?
We read each builder’s pricing page, terms and help centre and link every source on its page, with the day we read it. Where a fact only appears in a third-party article, the row says so. We make WhizCV, so we are not neutral: if a fact is out of date, write to support@whizcv.com and we will correct it.
